The Loneliness Room
For the purpose of this project the loneliness room is defined as a real or imagined space or place where we feel lonely or go to find loneliness. Each of us will have our very own version of the loneliness room: it could be the hills we walk on; a morning swim at the beach or local swimming pool; listening to a certain song in our bedroom; writing in our diary; or the park we go to sit in at lunchtime.
Loneliness maybe a feeling of solitude or isolation, or a space of contemplation or renewal. One may go to a loneliness room in melancholy or as a recuperative place to feel whole again.
