Thank you for entering the survey portal for this research on Awareness, Education and Communication for compound natural hazards.

This study is being undertaken by Deakin University on behalf of Natural Hazards Research Australia.

This survey aims to generate a better understanding of the role of awareness, education and communication initiatives in the context of ‘compound natural hazards’. Compound natural hazards occur when more two or more hazards happen at the same time, or hazards follow each other within a short space of time.

This is a short, voluntary survey and your responses will be fully anonymous. It will take you approximately 15 minutes to complete.

The opinions and experiences of people and communities who have lived through compound hazard events are crucial for helping improve communication and awareness initiatives. This will help everyone better prepare for future hazards. We thank you for your engagement and participation.

Before completing the survey, we ask that you please read the study’s Plain Language Statement and Consent Form so you are fully informed about the study.
I have read the Plain Language Statement and Consent Form and understand the purpose of the survey.
